The Pictographs are a gritty punk/alternative rock band with roots in the scenes of San Diego, Orange County, and Santa Cruz, California.
Known for their gritty, dynamic sound, The Pictographs blend male and female vocals to create a range of emotions—from dark, brooding, and satirical to fun, playful, and seductive.
In 2014, their song “Misery of My Company” caught the attention of legendary producer Ed Stasium (The Ramones, Talking Heads), leading to a collaboration with him and the inclusion of their track “The Castration of Mr. Casanova” in the film Black Widows.
