Founded in Minsk, Belarus, and based since 2016 in Augsburg, Germany, The Violent Youth is an unmistakably unique new wave, post-punk duo led by talented Belarussian singer, visual artist, and multi-instrumentalist Arthur Tsymbal. Live, the band plays as a duo, with Julian Riegel on bass. Starting its ascent from the Minsk underground post-punk scene, TVY entered Europe with confidence, moving to Germany and sharing the stage with new German artists such as Drangsal and Edwin Rosen. Since their inception, The Violent Youth have released several DIY music videos, independently released singles and two albums, garnering new fans in Germany and all over the world.
