Detached Bio:

Detached are a hard working ska/punk band from South Wales. The band formed in the summer of 2006 and haven’t looked back since, despite being put through some tough times. They have played and toured their energetic sweaty set all over the UK, sharing the stage with big names such as Bowling For Soup, Zebrahead, Wheatus, UK Subs, N-Dubz, Sonic Boom Six, Random Hand,The Skints, We are the Union, The Toasters, H20 and Bomb the Music Industry, just to mention a few. Performing live and touring is what the band enjoys the most and they don’t plan on changing this any time soon.

Detached self released their debut EP ‘You Only Live Once’ in 2007 which was made at home DIY by printing, burning & designing it themselves. They promoted the EP playing lots of live shows and a self-booked month long UK tour in the summer of 2008 - the EP was well received and eventually sold out, playing a crucial part in launching the band onto the UK scene.

In 2010 the band self released their 'None The Wiser' E.P on the 13th March. The E.P features artwork by the legendary Horsebites (Richard Minino) who has worked with bands such as Less Than Jake, Strike Anwhere and many more well respected names. The E.P was promoted with another successful tour of the UK which saw the band making fans and friends in new places all over the UK. The E.P is available on all major download platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Spotify etc.,from the band themselves at all live shows and their bigcartel store. The band feel that this release has upped their game and is opening more doors to get out there to do what they love.

Detached are looking forward to pushing themselves as much as possible for as long as possible and having lots of fun along the way.

Safe!
