It Gets Worse Bio:
Back in 2011, a group of small town musical outcasts decided that there were some sounds missing in the Wyoming music scene. They decided to start Wyoming’s first and only Ska Band, It Gets Worse. Influenced by bands like Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish, not to mention local Denver greats Five Iron Frenzy, the band focuses on providing a raw, high energy live performance. Not limiting themselves, IGW song influences range from swing to punk to …yes country western. Living in Wyoming, some of those influences will unknowingly sink in.
After 2 years of non-stop gigs around the western US and opening for many national touring acts, the band decided to expand themselves into a broader music scene. Seattle beckoned as the city where It Gets Worse would start its next chapter. Picking up a few new members in Seattle, IGW has been constantly performing throughout west coast for the better part of 3 years. Playing with the likes of The Toasters, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Save Ferris among others, as well as some of the biggest music festivals in the Northwest, IGW never ceases to impress their crowds.
In December 2016 the band returned from their latest West Coast tour and has since been focused on completing their debut full-length album, due out July 2017. The first track, "Cool Kids" was released along with a music video in April 2017.
