Dominic Angelella and Eric Slick have been friends for ten years, and in 2005 they formed Lithuania in a rehearsal room. Lithuania has played a handful of shows, toured twice and quietly released a five song EP titled Heavy Hands. All of these activities were broken up by long periods of silence in which Eric and Dominic worked on other projects (Dr. Dog and DRGN King) and went to see movies and concerts together when they found each other in the same city.
In 2014 the dudes released their first proper extended play record, Domesticated God 7”, via Seagreen Records. It is a tiny culmination of their decade of sporadic music making, somewhere in-between Daniel Johnston, Husker Du and Fort Thunder. This 7” is the prelude to their first full length album, titled Hardcore Friends, which will see release sometime in 2015.
