Splitside Bio:

Entitled “Our Days are Numbered”, this album tells of a time where our world is slowly going to hell, where unjust wars are waged unopposed, where wealth is greatly unevenly distributed and those in power exploit the less fortunate, where racism still exists, where religious crusades are still launched. This time is today and our days really are numbered!

For their full length debut Splitside have gone all out, this album features 20 solid tracks with topics ranging from war and injustice to relationships and love. The inspiration comes from their everyday lives and experiences, including what we all see go on in the world today, but we do little about. However, they have no illusions about a perfect world and have always kept their feet on the ground.

Splitside have never been afraid to experiment with their musical influences and this album is no exception. Granted most songs are dominantly punk with a touch of hardcore, but carefully thrown into the mix are piano, organ, trumpet, saxophone and even mandolin. Catchy, sing-along friendly and addictive punk choruses together with some pop and ska melodies makes this the perfect punk record and will leave anyone listening craving more.

Splitside was formed in 2004 in Sölvesborg, Sweden. Since then they have released an EP and have appeard on several compilations.

Splitside have furiously toured Scandinavia, Great Britain and greater parts of mainland Europe and have played alongside bands such as Dropkick Murphys, Leftover Crack, Time Again, Strung Out, The Unseen, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Left Alone, The King Blues, Asta Kask and Twopointeight. Having performed well over 100 gigs during the last two years have made them into a truly experienced live band.
