The Prozacs Bio:

The Prozacs are a Pop Punk band that formed in September 2001 from the ashes of the Massachusetts (USA) based band, The GrandPrixx. After 7 years, several changes in the lineup, touring in the USA and many releases on indie labels, the band's 3rd full length album, 'Playing The Chords We Love' was released on CD by Cheapskate Records & LP by Knowhere / No Breaks Records.

The current lineup consists of J Prozac (formerly of The GrandPrixx) on guitar and vocals, Adam Taylor (Formerly of The GrandPrixx) on bass and backing vocals & Rob Sarno (of Dennis Most & The Instigators and The Excuses) on guitar and backing vocals. Bringing together many influences from the Lookout! Records era of punk rock, the attitude of bands like Screeching Weasel & The Queers, the melody and fun of 1950's doo wop, 1960's pop, and of course The Ramones. The Prozacs keep moving ahead with all the heart and passion to keep true rock & roll alive.

The newest releases are a split 7" with The McRackins from Vancouver, Canada and a split CD with Super White Garlic from Sicily, Italy! Catch us as we will be playing & touring in promotion of the current releases, winning over fans 3 chords at a time.
