UNIFORMS are a four-piece punk rock band from the east coast of Scotland. Theirs is a punk rock of bleakness, bitterness and hopelessness, delivered with vigour and spite. The casual listener might very well call UNIFORMS’ music melodic, aggressive and intelligent, but it is during their live show that the band truly come to life. UNIFORMS live is an intense experience for all involved - fierce, vehement and often-times ramshackle, this is not a polished or a slick punk rock show, but one which will not easily be ignored or forgotten.
On the strength of their first demo CD, UNIFORMS have taken their punk rock show around the UK as well as across the Atlantic to the USA. Currently, they are ready to pause briefly, not for respite but to record a new collection of songs to be released in early May of 2012 ahead of a spirited jaunt around Great Britain with Fat Wreck Chords favourites the Cobra Skulls followed by an adventure across the American West. The UNIFORMS summer schedule wraps up with an appearance at Crash Doubt Fest 2 in Lincoln alongside the likes of No Trigger, The Skints and Heartsounds.
