DS Record Radar: The Young Hasselhoffs announce “Get Dumped” colored vinyl reissue

All the way from Y2K, the cult classic sophomore album from Nebraska pop-punk veterans The Young Hasselhoffs Get Dumped will see a release on vinyl for the first time on July 12th, courtesy of Mom’s Basement Records. Pop-punk aficionados know what to expect – twelve tracks of delicious harmonies and earworm melodies, all wrapped up in that old school Lookout! sound.

We’re all about color variants here at the Dying Scene Record Radar, so let’s talk about the ones Get Dumped is getting. There’ll be pink marble and green marble variants, each limited to 100 copies, as well as a preorder exclusive clear vinyl variant with pink and green splatter, limited to 50 copies. All three variants come housed in a jacket with updated, spiffed up cover art.

But wait, there’s more! The band has also unearthed a box of the original CDs released in 2000 on Reinforcement Records, and Mom’s Basement will be including a free copy of the original CD with each LP while supplies last. They’ve got a sweet t-shirt up for grabs as well.

Pre-orders go live today, so hurry over to the Mom’s Basement webstore and get your copies before it’s too late! If the last Young Hasselhoffs reissue is any guide, expect the preorder exclusive variant to sell out quickly.
