According to their fan site, Bad Religion are expected to be back in the studio next month to begin recording their long-awaited new record, which will be their sixteenth full-length studio album in their career.
The plan to enter the studio next month was confirmed by bassist Jay Bentley in a post on The Bad Religion Page’s message board, where he calls himself jabberwock and states:
“we really have no plans right now, except to record in july / august”
Jay also said in another post on The Bad Religion Page that the new record will be produced by Joe Barresi and their guitarist Brett Gurewitz.
If their new record comes out next year, it’ll continue the three year pattern between Bad Religion albums (the first being The Empire Strikes First in 2004, New Maps of Hell in 2007 and The Dissent of Man in 2010).
