Hailing from the tropical paradise of San José, Costa Rica, Reacción Direkta are a four-piece aggressive punk/post-hardcore band who are waaaay more pissed off than you might expect from a band where the average temperature is 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Formed in 2002, RD finally got around to recording and releasing their debut seven-song EP, “¿Cuál Democracia?,” late last year. Their sound hits hard and fast, and is filled with the kind of rage against the South American political machine that would make Propagandhi proud. RD have shared the stage with the likes of NOFX, The Casualties and the Bouncing Souls, and more than held their own. Check ’em out – they won’t be unsigned for long!
