Gallows frontman Frank Carter leaves band due to “creative differences”, forms new band Pure Love

Despite having recently entered the studio to record a new album, Frank Carter, lead singer of UK hardcore-punk act Gallows, has decided to leave the band.  He cites creative differences with band mates on the sound direction of the new album and has instead decided to form a new band called Pure Love as his new creative outlet.  The rest of Gallows will carry on without Frank and they are now in the process of finding a new singer.

Carter has formed Pure Love with his brother Jim Carroll (Suicide File, Clouds, Hope Conspiracy) and they plan on entering the studio in September to record their debut.

According to official statements from Carter and fellow band members there does not appear to be any ill will between the group.

Gallows will fulfill their current touring plans with Carter still on the mic until August 1st.
