Local Resident Failure begin recording new album, post studio update

New Castle punk rockers Local Resident Failure are currently working on a new album which was crowd-funded through an Indiegogo campaign. The band recently post a studio update on their Facebook saying the following:

“So an update on the new album is a bit overdue but here’s the story. Firstly a huuuuge thanks to everyone who pledged for the album campaign, we didn’t quite reach the goal of $10k but managed to get $6590 which is a ridiculous help and will still go a long way to getting it finished!

We have been recording pretty heavily over the last month or so and the 15 new tracks are coming together pretty alright. Unlike the last album this one isn’t going to take 2 years to finish, so it’s looking like a release will be happening sometime in the not so distant future. On top of this we will be touring Europe for most of August and planning a bit of an Aus tour for the album after that, more details over the next couple of weeks!”

We’ll be sure to keep you posted as more details about the new album becomes available. Local Resident Failure’s last full-length entitled A Breath Of Stale Air was released back in 2012 through Pee Records.
