<p>GA-20 are certainly not “Cryin’ and Pleadin'” after their win at the Boston Music Awards last night, but they can still do a dang good rendition of that Billy Boy Arnold tune. The Boston blues stalwarts released their take on “Cryin’ & Pleadin'” earlier this week (December 10), continuing their love of Chicago blues with a hat tip to one of the genre’s finest figures. “Cryin’ & Pleadin'” kicks off the rollout of EP Volume 2, GA-20’s forthcoming project and […]</p>

Pain don’t hurt Jack Quaid in the ‘Novocaine’ trailer

<p>Get ready for some Jack Quaid overload in 2025. This isn’t a bad thing — we’re big fans of Quaid’s work on The Boys and Star Trek: Lower Decks– but the guy will practically be the face of first-quarter cinema next year. He’s starring in Companion, the creepy lover-robot movie from the producers that brought you Barbarian, and now he’s also going to be in Novocaine, a beautifully simple high-concept thriller from directors Dan Berk and Robert Olsen. How’s this […]</p>

Reba Meyers of Code Orange releases solo single

Reba Meyers of Code Orange has released her debut solo single. It's called "“Certain Uncertainty” and right now, it's a stand alone track. The accompanying video was directed by Greg Puciato. In a release, Meyers stated: "“I’m finding that I have the space only now in my life to have a bird’s eye view on my adolescence, and that perspective, and current time of growth made it the perfect moment to begin to release solo material. A moment I’ve been sure would eventually come, thought I never knew exactly how it would look,” says Meyers, reflecting on her decision to release music under her own name. “With that, I get to experience the rewarding and nerve-wracking process of allowing myself the platform to be a more vulnerable person, and to explore that natural foundation proudly outside of how I’ve maybe been portrayed.”"You can see the video below.

‘Nosferatu’ Review: Thriving in the shadow of the original vampire

<p>It’s funny to think that, once upon a time, some particularly petulant horror fan might have considered F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu to be the Asylum version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula – it was an unauthorized adaptation, after all – but tell someone today that you’re planning on adapting Dracula and they’ll shrug their shoulders. Say you’re adapting Nosferatu, and people lose their minds. It’s held in high regard for a few valid reasons: That 1922 film has a frankly bizarre story […]</p>
