After a few months of songwriting, OC ska veterans Reel Big Fish entered the studio this morning for the recording of their 8th full-length album, consisting of all new original material. The band announced late last night:
“Well Kids, get excited; It’s finally happening! Tomorrow morning we begin recording our NEW album of ALL NEW, Original RBF songs that we just wrote a few months ago! We’re hoping to have it out in time for our summer tour this year! How about that shit?!”
The band last released their cover album “Fame, Fortune, and Fornication” in 2009. Their most recent original material appeared five years ago on 2007’s “Monkeys For Nothin’ and Chimps For Free.”
