The Offspring’s “Ignition” and Bad Religion’s “Generator” crack the top 5 in Guitar World’s Best Guitar Albums of 1992

The folks over at Guitar World magazine recently asked readers to vote on the Best Guitar Album of 1992. The results are in, and they are quite interesting.

As you might expect given that it was Guitar World running the poll, the final list features not just heavy metal albums, but two punk rock albums that were both released on Epitaph joined the ranks and made a surprising land on number two and number three respectively. Those albums are… The Offspring‘s Ignition and Bad Religion‘s Generator! Congratulations. You can click here to view the rest of the list, or click through here to read the article in its entirety.

How do you think GW readers did? We think they may have left a few off. If you think there’s at least one best “guitar album” from 1992 that could have made it on the list, throw in your comments here.
