Travis Barker is working on a hip-hop album with Michelle Obama

First Lady Michelle Obama is said to be releasing a hip-hop album with several notable artists including blink 182 and Transplants drummer Travis Barker, Reverend Run of RUN DMC, Doug E. Fresh, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, Ashanti and Matisyahu. The album is being put together by “Partnership for a Healthier America” and “Hip Hop Public Health”, and it aims to help Americans live a healthier lifestyle with nutritious foods and exercise. Mrs. Obama will not be featured on the album itself, but she will however be making appearances in the music videos.

A release date for the album has not been given yet, but it is said to be distributed amongst schools in America after it is finished.
