Pennywise frontman Zoli Teglas, a volunteer for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, has joined forces with the Pelican Rescue Team to speak out against whale-serving Santa Monica, CA, sushi restaurant, The Hump (2.5 stars? Should be avoided just based off of that).
The peaceful protest will be held from 1130am-2pm this Friday at the restaurant and has received approval from the SMPD. Inspiration for the protest came as The New York Times released an article stating that The Hump is in violation of the Marine Mammal Protection Act through their serving whale meat.
