The band – which includes bassist / vocalist Matt Freeman [Rancid, Operation Ivy], drummer / vocalist Jason Willer [Jello Biafra & the Guantanamo School of Medicine, UK Subs], guitarist Andrew McGee, and keyboardist Kephera Moon [Brainticket, Hedersleben] – play hard-hitting, heavy music that will equally appeal to fans cross-cutting subgenres from punk & hardcore to metal & thrash to hard rock in general. While the pedigree of each band member is quite impressive, Charger remains, and has been, from the very beginning, a band forging ahead with their own sound and identity.
In addition to the core band members, Lars Frederiksen (Rancid, The Old Firm Casuals) & Wayne Lozinak (Hatebreed) dropped by the studio to contribute vocals. Frederiksen also has co-writing credits on two of the songs.
