Chicago punk rock heroes Sludgeworth are back with their first new album in more than three decades!!

Entitled Second Time Around – naturally – the album is due out June 19th on Red Scare Industries. Here’s what drummer Brian McQuaid had to say about the thirty-five-year gap since the release of their debut record, What’s This? “I don’t think anyone had Sludgeworth putting out a full-length record in 2026 on their Bingo card. But during the hiatus, there were plenty of moments where I found myself imagining the record we never got to make — the one that should have come out as a follow-up in 1992. I think we finally made that record.”
