"Feels Like Hell" - Weakened Friends

Release Date: October 10, 2025 Record Label: Don Giovanni Records Release Type: LPBandcamp Link: Listen on Bandcamp

Everyone’s favorite fuzzed-out Portland, Maine, indie-rockers Weakened Friends are back with a brand new full-length! It’s called Feels Like Hell, and it’s due out in October on Don Giovanni Records. Here’s what the band had to say about the release:

At a time when numbness prevails and singers whisper apathy rather than scream their feelings, Feels Like Hell offers a compelling antidote. Sonia sings about everything threatening to kill the spirit—deep nihilism in the face of global capitalism—with the kind of spirit that can’t be killed. Sonia’s vocals imagine better worlds, ones free of restraint or surveillance. There’s no self-censorship here—Sonia isn’t afraid to scream until their throat is raw, and Annie isn’t afraid to groove through the apocalypse. Leaning into rock and post-pop-punk with heart and reverence, they perform with a freedom many feel bereft of today.

Pre-orders are now available wherever you get your music – like Bandcamp, for example. You can check out the first two singles, “Tough Luck (Bleed Me Out)” and “Torn” down below. The latter track may sound familiar if you are, say “of a certain age.”
