Based in Bombay, India, Pacifist seek to push what it means to be punk in the current times, beyond sound and aesthetic – daresay, the new shape of punk to come. On their upcoming five EP, set for release on January 16th, 2026, the band unleash five tracks that elude sonic parameters. Whilst living culturally orphaned in a third world that’s set in steady decline, five is Pacifist’s sermon on a scarce & fast dying approach to music with plenty of emotional heft. Self-produced and mixed by guitarist Apurv with mastering by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, five is a long-awaited statement rooted in creativity, friendship, and distinction.
