As shameful as it is, some of you readers don’t actually check Dying Scene every hour of every day. For you slackers we’ve put together a list of last week’s biggest stories to help you stay in the loop and maintain your punk cred. You’re welcome
1. Do any of you weenies even know who Darby Crash is? Posers.
2. Mark Hoppus is working on new music. Hopefully it’s all duets with Robert Smith.
3. NOFX’s Fat Mike talked to Nardwuar about a bunch of typical Fat Mike topics.
4. Speaking of interviews, Jay Stone talked to Mike McColgan on his side project, his current band and returning to Boston.
5. John Barlow of Animalhaus passed away.
6. The Lawrence Arms have a video for “Seventeener” out. Just give us the album already.
7. Off With Their Heads announced another tour along with some really stupid plans to tour less.
8. Bad Religion performed “True North” on Conan.
9. Phil Everly discussed Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones’ Foreverly in one of his final interviews before he passed away.
10. Brian Fallon’s Molly And The Zombies are streaming two new songs.
Those were just some of the most read stories from last week, but there were plenty more little gems covered. Let us know what what you loved, what you hated and what your personal favorite story was in the comments.
