According to AFI News Headquarters, AFI may be on the lineup to play Chicago music festival Lollapalooza on August 6th-8th. The band is touring with Green Day around that time, but there is a gap of four days that happen to fall conveniently during the days of the festival.
It has also been rumored that Green Day may headline the Lollapalooza. This info comes from the Lollapalooza website, which has a fill-in-the-blank game. Green Day and AFI fit into two of the blanks.
“We’re not saying that this is definite, because it hasn’t been confirmed by anybody. We just want you all to be aware of the possibility when the official Lollapalooza lineup is revealed on April 6th.”
