As you may or may not know, last month Alex Torres resigned from guitar duties to pursue other musical endeavors. Alex had previously played for Eyes Set To Kill, and has been playing and touring with Greeley Estates for the past several years. He recorded two albums while with Greeley Estates including Go West Young Man, Let The Evil Go East and their latest release No Rain, No Rainbow, which came out in January on Tragic Hero Records.
Greeley Estates continues sans Alex, and has just announced that once bass player David Ludlow will be moving from bass to guitar, while Micah Kinard (vocals, piano) of Oh Sleeper has been enlisted to fill in on bass for Greeley’s upcoming Japan tour with August Burns Red.
The band returns stateside later this month and kicks off a US tour. Check their Dying Scene Shows page for details on dates and locations.
