August Burn Reds posts details about upcoming Live CD/DVD release “Home”

A couple of months ago, we reported that Pennsylvanian hardcore act August Burns Red had plans to record a show in their hometown of Manheim, PA, that was going to be used for an upcoming live CD/DVD release. Well, folks, information about the album has come to light, and we have all the great details for you here. Coming straight from Solid State Records,

The powerful, pummeling performance featured many fan favorites from the band’s three full-length albums, “Constellations,” 2007’s “Messengers” and 2005’s “Thrillseeker,” meaning that Home will appeal to both new and longtime ABR fans. Shot and edited by Space Monkey Studios, whose phenomenal work has been seen on releases by acts like Coheed & Cambria, Lamb Of God, Every Time I Die and more, the live show is accompanied by a documentary on the band detailing life on the road and at home and featuring many fans discussing the ways in which August Burns Red have impacted their lives in a positive, meaningful way.

There you have it folks, straight from the horse’s mouth, or whatever that expression is. Home is set to hit stores September 28th, so keep your eyes peeled for teaser videos.

The band’s last work before the new live CD/DVD was their 2009 album Constellations which was released on Solid State Records.
