Austin Carlile is back on vocals for Of Mice & Men (Roush offers response); headed to studio to record second full-length

Back in April we reported that vocalist Of Mice & Men, Austin Carlile was calling it quits with the band in order to deal with health issues. It has just been reported that Austin is back with Of Mice & Men, replacing his replacement, Jerry Roush, on vocals. Apparently guitarist Phil Manansala has also been replaced with Carlile’s friend Alan Ashby to fill in on rhythm guitar.

According to the report, Of Mice & Men is headed to the studio this month to begin work on their second full-length album.

If you’d like to read Jerry Roush’s response to being ousted from the band, head here.

Jerry Roush’s response – Hey everyone… after sacrificing a year out of my life to keep a band afloat and touring after they kicked out the original singer, i just got a call informing me that they are bringing him back and my services were no longer needed. They didnt offer me a reason. I think its a little odd seeing how they all talked epic amounts of shit on him the entire time. Anyway, i already have some new stuff up my sleeve and i WILL NOT stop. This isnt the last of Jerry Roush. Thanks to everyone who supported me… keep a lookout!
