Band Spotlight: The Bastard Suns

These days it gets harder and harder to find new bands that are capable of creating a truly unique sound while still remaining decidedly punk rock.  Atlanta’s The Bastard Suns, however, do just that by playing a style that combines fist-pumping, Irish pride, punk anthems with laid back, reggae party tunes.  To borrow another critic’s comparison, The Bastard Suns play an energetic blend of reggae-infused punk rock that sounds a lot like an amalgamation of Dropkick Murphy’s meets Sublime.  Nowhere is that more evident than in their epic song My Pint, which you can listen to here.
