Benefit concert for Vio-Lence singer Sean Killian announced

Usually Dying Scene doesn’t cover thrash metal bands, but Sean Killian, the lead singer of the legendary Bay Area thrash metal band Vio-Lence, has been diagnosed with stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver.

Sean has been placed on a liver donor transplant list and is currently taking applications for a live liver donor. At this time the Bay Area metal community has come together to help one of their own. Fundraising has begun for Sean and his family.

A benefit for Sean, presented by The Sean Killian Charity Fund, “Killian on Command: An Evening of Vio-Lence” will take place on January 20th, 2018 at the Oakland Metro Opera House in Oakland, California, and will feature an all-star lineup of musicians performing Vio-Lence’s music. Scheduled to perform are members of Vio-Lence, Testament, Forbidden, Mordred, Death Angel, Exodus, Attitude Adjustment, and Fang, with more to be announced. King Arthur’s Bastard Son will serve as special guest of the show.

More details on “Killian on Command: An Evening of Vio-Lence” are available right here, and you can get your tickets at Eventbrite.

Get well soon, Sean!
