Last Thursday at Webster Hall in New Jersey, Bouncing Souls took the stage as part of their 20th anniversary celebration, with melodic hardcore outfit Lifetime being their opening act… Ah, Lifetime- Punk music for women. During Souls’ “Leen On Sheena”, a dude in his wheelchair was hoisted up over the heads of the crowd and carried to the front of the stage where he landed the ultimate wheelchair crowd surf. Bassist Bryan Kienlen then grabbed the mic and shouted “That’s Jersey right there for you!”. We’re not sure what happened after he got on stage or how he got down, but there’s an entire article on the show posted on the New York Times website, so feel free to check it out.
Bouncing Souls’ last album “Gold Record” was released on Epitaph Records in 2006.
