After nearly 20 years as a band, Texas rock group Bowling for Soup is rolling to a stop. The band has announced their “Bowling for Soup Bids Farewell Tour” which will include their final UK dates.
While they will quit touring to take stress off of their family lives, they have no plans to stop making music.
Here is what lead singer Jarret Reddick has to say about the farewell:
“We’re all excited about the future and what’s next. Honestly, it opens up the whole world for us! If you’re a fan of Bowling For Soup, this really is better news than it seems. You may not be seeing us in person as much, but you’re definitely gonna have more new songs.”
The group has a fan-funded album set to be released in September as well as a re-recording of their Greatest Hits for the 20th anniversary of Bowling for Soup in 2014.
