Bridge 9 to re-release Antidote’s “Thou Shalt Not Kill”

Massachusetts’ Bridge 9 Records has annouced their plans to re-release the 1983 EP Thou Shalt Not Kill from NYHC crew Antidote. The EP was originally limited to a run of 1000 records, and was pressed almost 30 years ago – making it pretty difficult to come by and pretty expensive where you managed to find it. Antidote reformed in 2008, sparking more interest in the EP and driving its cost into the hundreds of dollars on eBay. B9 founder Chris Wren approached the band about a re-release earlier this year, and the partnership was formed.

The 7″ is scheduled to be re-released in CD, 7″ and digital formats on August 24, 2010. It will feature the original artwork with updated liner notes from founding guitarist Rob Nunzio. Antidote will be touring to support the re-release – more details on that as they become available. Read the full press release from B9 here.
