Chicago Blackhawks goalie takes medical leave of absence after busting ass at a Rise Against show

According to recent reports, Chicago Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford is going to have to sit the next two to three weeks out due to a recent injury he sustained… not on the ice, but at a Rise Against show at House of Blues Chicago.

Crawford sustained a lower-body injury (whatever that means) when he “missed a step” on his way out of the show. He’s pretty embarrassed by the incident, and frustrated that he will have to sit out the team’s next few games.

This isn’t the first time the goalie has had to take a medical leave of absence this season. Back in October, he missed six games after sustaining, you guessed it, a lower-body injury. While some Blackhawks fans aren’t very happy he’s injured again, and are voicing their frustration on the band’s Facebook page, others are getting a kick of the ordeal.
