Chunksaah Records have announced that they will release The Explosion‘s previously unreleased third full-length album “Bury Me Standing” on February 14th.

The album was originally recorded in 2006 while the band were still on Virgin Records. They left the label in early 2007 and shelved the record. It was then scheduled for release in 2008 via Paper + Plastick but was delayed again. The Explosion disbanded shortly after recording “Bury Me Standing,” but have been playing sporadic one-off shows since; they most recently performed with the Bouncing Souls in Asbury Park, New Jersey in December as part of that band’s annual Home For The Holidays festivities.
