DS Exclusive Video Premiere: Save The Clocktower – “It Ain’t Over Till These Bones Are Picked Clean”

Today at Dying Scene we are stoked to bring you the world premiere and debut film clip from Tasmania’s best post-hardcore outfit, Save The Clocktower.  The song is called “It Ain’t Over Till These Bones Are Picked Clean” and is taken off their debut EP, “Letters.”  Check out the amazing film clip here.

The band gave us some insight about how the video came to life and the themes behind it:

“We firstly came up with the idea of shooting a video by talking to our mates & co-owners of L.U.S.Y Productions, Scott Atkins and Jesse Hunniford. After sitting down and sussing out different ideas with both Jesse and Scott, we decided on doing a video for ‘Bones’. We really wanted a storyline that portrayed the effects of drug usage on an individual, and they were both really keen on that same idea. We shot all the band stuff in an old warehouse that we had to break into, and since shooting, has actually been demolished. It was full of asbestos and was so fucking cold. We had to run three massive generators to power all the lights and sound system. All of the party shots were done at our friend Jesse’s house, and everything panned out well. Scott really got the mood of the song, with the build up to confusion and sadness so evident. The video really does the meaning of the song justice. We are so happy with the amazing job that L.U.S.Y have done, and feel that everything has been done just right.”
