Farewell Continental announces debut full-length and US spring tour

Minneapolis kind-of-hidden-identity rock group Farewell Continental have announced that their debut full-length album, ¡Hey, Hey Pioneers! will be released on May 10 through Paper + Plastick.

The band has also announced their only US tour dates for 2011 – check out the details here.

If you didn’t already know, Motion City Soundtrack‘s Justin Pierre fronts this band in addition to MCS – they sound kind of a low-fi MCS, actually.

The band’s last release was EP#2, which you can check out on the band’s MySpace page.
