Rumors of Farewell‘s demise have apparently been exaggerated. The band is back after an unexpected disappearance and has announced that they are about to begin pre-production on a new album next week. Here’s what the band had to say:
“I know it’s been forever since our last update, but we’re BACK and proud to say that writing/preproduction starts up this coming weekend in Greensboro, NC. I can’t even begin to express how excited we are to show you the new FAREWELL this winter. Get ready and help spread the word!!”
The band released their last full-length studio album, Run It Up the Flag Pole, back in 2009 on Epitaph Records. They are currently unsigned, so their new album won’t be released on that label.
