Fat Mike Announces “Camp Punk in Drublic” Festival with N

Nofx’s Fat Mike has announced the first edition of a new music festival. The event is called Camp Punk in Drublic and will be a three day celebration of punk rock, craft beer, and general debauchery. It will be held on the first weekend of June, from the Friday through until Sunday in Legend Valley, Thornville, OH.

Comprising the line up will be many Fat Wreck favourites plus a few other legendary punk rock bands. These will include: Nofx, Rancid, Goldfinger, Pennywise, Lagwagon, The Bouncing Souls, Face to Face, and many more. There will also be various other attractions such as flea markets, funfairs, and camp fire stories from the likes of Jello Biafra, Eric Melvin, and Mike himself.

Fat Mike had the following to say about his new venture:

“The thing about camping is that really nothing can go wrong, because everything is already wrong. Punk rockers don’t really know how to camp. They know how to wear hoodies, drink, and lean on each other…

“…Let me be clear: A rabbi, a priest and a few thousand punk rockers go camping in Ohio…Sorry, no punchline. But there will be 17 great bands, 2 mediocre bands, and 5,000 kegs of beer. What could possibly go wrong?”
