The Gaslight Anthem fans sure are dedicated – one of them has gone so far as to pull together 11 of Anthem frontman Brian Fallon’s solo acoustic tracks and put them together for a free download. The compilation includes some Anthem originals and some covers from other artists (Springsteen, Waits…. and Kelly Clarkson?!) and you can download it right here. Fallon had previously discussed releasing an album of “music for the night time” on his blog, but I don’t think this is it. But this is real cool, and maybe a sign of things to come. And it sounds good! So go get it.
The Gaslight Anthem recently started a US Tour which concludes in October, then hopping across the pond until November (US and international dates here). The band’s most recent release, American Slang, came out in June 2010 on SideOneDummy Records.
