Canadian hardcore group Fucked Up has had some interesting art grace their albums. Ever wonder about the stories behind some of them? Well, ponder no more, head on over to their blog and read the explanations behind the covers.
The one pictured, for example, is of the “Manhattanhenge” phenomenon – when the setting sun lines up just right with the street grid of Manhattan and creates a cool light effect. It only happens a couple of times a year, and apparently their photographer caught it by chance when shooting in midtown.
