Fun Factoid Friday: Pennywise, Rancid and Bad Religion on one album

Every Friday the punk rock geniuses here at Dying Scene are going to unleash a little bit of punk scene trivia all over your asses. Today’s “fun factoid” is about Bad Religion’s album “Stranger Than Fiction” and it’s spectacular lineup of guest vocalists.

Like most fans of punk rock, you probably also consider yourself a pretty big fan of Bad Religion. Well, here’s a piece of trivia about the punk legends that might surprise even some of you die-hards out there. On the Bad Religion album Stranger Than Fiction Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong makes a guest appearance on the song Television, singing 2 of the song’s verses.  If you knew that already, you might still be surprised to know that former Pennywise lead singer Jim Lindberg also makes a vocal appearance on the album, this time in the form of backup vocals on the song Marked.
