Goldfinger drummer Darrin Pfeiffer recently revealed he is now drumming for Sum 41, posting a few pictures on his Facebook page with the caption, “Sum 41 rehearsals, day 1. Sounding killer!!”
It’s not clear whether Pfeiffer has joined the band full-time, or just for the recording of their new album, but we’ll keep you posted as more details come to light.
Sum 41 launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the release of a follow-up to 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder last month. July also saw the band reuniting with original guitarist Dave “Brownsound” Baksh at the APMAs.
