I Killed the Prom Queen announce reunion, plan new album

Australian metalcore act I Killed the Prom Queen have announced that they’re back together after a three-year hiatus and will embark on the “Destroy Music Tour” of Australia next May. The band will be performing in the direct support slot behind The Amity Affliction with support coming from Deez Nuts and Of Mice & Men. The full list of dates and a tour trailer can both be viewed here.

Another word on the street is that I Killed the Prom Queen will begin writing a new album this December for a mid-2012 release. Their last studio album, Music for the Recently Deceased, was released in 2006 on Metal Blade Records.
