In a recent interview with Punknews.org, Pennywise singer Jim Lindberg confirmed that the band has already been working on new material, but in order to focus on their upcoming shows, it looks like we won’t expect it any time soon. Jim is also hoping that they will release a best-of compilation album with new material on it. He states:
“We’re working on stuff and putting plans together. But right now, at the moment, we’re just focusing on doing some shows and celebrating that we’re back together. And hopefully we’ll have a best-of package together and you will hear some new songs in there.”
Lindberg last recorded with Pennywise on 2008’s Reason to Believe. He left the band a year later and was replaced by Ignite singer Zoli Teglas, who appeared on their latest album All or Nothing, which surfaced last year. Shortly after the release of All or Nothing, Teglas was out of the band and Lindberg finally rejoined.
