Listen: Russian Girlfriends explore their rock n roll influences in split with Redbush

Albuquerque, New Mexico punks Russian Girlfriends are streaming their half of “Split with Redbush” which I’m going to go out on a limb and assume is Wyoming punk act Redbush.

Those of you familiar with the Russian Girlfriends will find them leaning more into their traditional “rock n roll” influences in these 4 new tracks. The fact that one of them is a cover of Nirvana’s “Downer” from the 1989 “Bleach” album will give you some idea of the vibe. But you know what will give you a better sense for the band’s progression? Streaming the track below!

Russian Girlfriends’ last release was another split put out in March, 2017.
