Long-defunct hardcore punk act 98 Mute got back together for at least one show last Friday (March 11th) at the Hollywood Palladium, where they opened for Pennywise. Footage from that concert, uploaded by Felony Records, can be viewed below.
It is not known if there will be more 98 Mute shows in the future, or if the Palladium appearance was a one-off, but we’ll keep you posted as more details on the reunion come to light. The band broke up in 2002 after a nine year run, which spanned four studio albums and tours with notable bands such as Pennywise, The Offspring and Blink-182.
