Connecticut punk band Make Do And Mend are currently in the studio recording their debut full-length to be jointly released later this year on Paper + Plastick and Panic Records. Here’s a statement from both label owners:
“It’s been exciting to watch MDAM grow as a band. We’ve become very good friends and the band itself has been a big part of Panic Records growth,” says Panic Records owner Timm McIntosh. “Our main priority at Panic Records is to help the bands on the label, and so it’s a logical step to team up with Paper + Plastick to help continue MDAM’s growth. I can’t wait for this record to drop… everything MDAM touches is gold.” Paper + Plastick Records owner Vinnie Fiorello adds “This collaboration is an exciting one for me and P+P. I love and respect Panic as a label, and to be able to work with them on such an amazing project like MDAM is inspirational and lends itself to the fact that the music scene doesn’t have to be cutthroat to survive and thrive.”
The band will be on the road starting in July so check out dates and locations on their Dying Scene Shows page.
