Mayday Parade new song clip of “Anywhere But Here”, tentative release date for new album

fearless10You can hear a 47 second clip of a brand new Mayday Parade song over on the band’s myspace page.  The song is titled “Anywhere But Here” and it will appear on the band’s upcoming, still untitled, release.  Below is a recording update from the band:

Valdosta, GA is not where I wanna be. I have so many bad memories of this place it’s not even funny. It’s a place that a lot of things went down in my life that hurt pretty bad, but for the better. I hate that I’m in this town again, but I’m here for a good reason. We’re tracking a couple B-sides here at Earthsound Recording w/ my best bud Lee Dyess. To explain, B-sides are songs that didn’t quite make the record, not because they weren’t good enough to, but because they weighed heavier against other songs. Tomorrow is our last day and we’ve finished Drums, Bass, Rhythm Guitars and Piano. Tomorrow we lay down vocals and Lead Guitars. I doubt we’ll have enough time to finish everything, but my fingers are crossed that we will because, like I said, I hate it here. I can’t wait to be done with this whole recording process. I also can’t wait for October 6th. Time is nearing down until our record comes out.

Soooo,  October 6th release date?  Mayday Parade released their last album “A Lesson In Romantics” on Fearless Records in 2007.
