Hard Hitters Merchant Ships have broken up a second time, this time seemingly for good. The band writes that this time around, the break up isn’t as dramatic as last, citing creative/personal differences. According to a recent blog entry,
“Believe it, we’re breaking up a second time. I’m sure some of you have heard varying degrees of the truth, but the official reason is going to be “creative and personal differences” and I/we can’t stress enough that this time it’s not as dramatic as last time. We had arguably the best time of our lives on tour and for all it’s worth I wish we could do that forever, but there are weird riffs in this band that will never be explained.”
The band have posted their two albums available as a free download on their MySpace page but ask for donations to help pay off the costs of recording and touring. Read more here.
