Michael Todd, the former bassist of Coheed and Cambria, was sentenced to one year of house arrest following his armed robbery charge last summer. Here’s an excerpt of the report:
“The former bass player of the New York-based rock band Coheed and Cambria pleaded guilty Monday to robbing painkillers from a Pleasant Street pharmacy last summer, hours before his band played a concert at the Comcast Center in Mansfield.
Michael R. Todd, 31, was sentenced in Fall River Superior Court to serve one year of home confinement with GPS monitoring for the July 10 robbery at Walgreens at Pleasant Street and Starkey Avenue in Attleboro. Judge Renee Dupuis also gave him three years’ probation, which was a sentence recommended by both sides.”
Todd parted ways with Coheed and Cambria not long after his initial arrest. The band has continued on and recently wrapped up recording the follow up to their 2010 Columbia Records release “Year Of The Black Rainbow”.
